Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care while delivering a positive experience. This role will involve monitoring patients, managing discharges, and admissions, while maintaining a team-oriented and flexible approach.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor vital signs and patient condition in a telemetry setting.
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patients including managing common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, and post-cardiac care.
• Interpret EKGs and demonstrate critical thinking skills in patient management.
• Manage discharges and admissions as part of a collaborative care team.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Meditech experience preferred.
