Order Picking Supervisor

As we continue to rapidly grow, we have a career opportunity available for a talented and motivated individual to join our Taylor Farms New Jersey team as an Order Picking Supervisor located in Swedesboro, New Jersey. About the Role Supervise a large team (greater than fifty) of employees to ensure daily execution of order fulfilment and customer shipments. Train, schedule, mentor, coach, and evaluate employees. Ensure required order fulfilment, accuracy levels, and shipping deadlines are achieved. Maintain and improve procedures to track and measure productivity and efficiency including accuracy, throughput, and quality. Meet departmental labor targets and budgets. Consistently communicate and drive accountability around expectations and standards to all team members. Maintain a clean, clear and organized work environment, adhere to the company’s good manufacturing practices. Ensure accurate inventory levels and product rotation. Effectively communicate with other supervisors and managers. The schedule for this position is Sunday-Thursday from 6 AM-finish (last shipment out, average 10 hr. shifts). Qualifications Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills required including Microsoft Office. Ability to learn and operate required functions in the company’s ERP and WMS system. Individual should be a self-starter with ability to analyze and improve existing processes and systems. Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisor or manager position. Ability to demonstrate competency in managing large employee group (e.g. development of KPIs, creating a training program, promotion rate of employees etc. etc.). Previous experience in warehouse inventory management preferred. Previous order fulfilment experience preferred. Individual should be a strong leader and developer of people who can motivate colleagues and direct reports to achieve daily goals. Must possess a “lead from the floor” mindset and leadership style.
