Required Skills: Valid medical license in Virginia or eligibility to obtain one Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Family Medicine with OB specialization Exceptional clinical judgment and strong communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a hospital setting Proficiency in managing high-risk obstetric cases and emergency situations Nice to Have Skills: Experience in a hospital-based obstetric practice Prior locum tenens or temporary assignment experience Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Bilingual abilities or proficiency in additional languages Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 3 years of obstetric practice or relevant experience Certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) are highly desirable Other Requirements: Active medical licensure in Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure Certification and/or experience in managing obstetric emergencies Willingness to travel to North Chesapeake, VA, for the duration of the assignment Compliance with all hospital, state, and federal healthcare standards This is your chance to enrich your professional journey, enjoy excellent pay at $214.50 per hour, and be part of a committed team dedicated to your success.
