PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including grooming and personal hygiene.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health status.

Help clients with mobility and transportation to appointments and social events.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to healthcare professionals.

Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance caregiving skills.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification in personal care or nursing assistance preferred.

Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interactions.

Ability to perform physical tasks and assist clients with mobility.

Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
