Job Title: Paint Processor - Tier II I
Location: Kendallville, IN, United States
Duration: 12 Months on W2
Shift: Varies (Primarily 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, some Saturdays required)
Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Operate spray painting or similar equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal products or components.
- Mix paints and related solutions as needed and monitor drying processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Perform finishing processes such as baking, polishing, or applying additional coatings.
- Follow all safety standards and procedures while handling materials and equipment.
- Perform manual painting tasks when required.
- Report to supervisor or manager and support production goals.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0–3 years of related experience (entry-level candidates encouraged).
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn painting/coating processes.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations (e.g., percentages).
- Good vision, with the ability to distinguish colors accurately.
- Physically able to lift 5-gallon paint pails and stack up to 3 high; able to move drums using a cart.
- Apprenticeship or formal training in a related field is a plus.
