We are actively hiring Registered Nurses for a Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg unit at a leading acute care hospital in Gainesville, FL. This is a great opportunity to join a large, patient-focused healthcare system offering strong clinical support, career growth, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Available Shifts:

• Days (Rotating Weekends)
• Nights (Rotating Weekends)

About the Unit:

45-Bed Cardiac Telemetry Med-Surg Unit

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 5:1 on Days (occasionally 6:1) | 6:1 on Nights

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient condition during admission and throughout each shift
• Monitor and report changes in patient status promptly
• Administer medications and evaluate therapeutic responses
• Perform ordered procedures and maintain accurate documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and medications

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent Acute Care RN experience (within the last 2 years) required
• Active Florida RN license or compact RN license required

Shift Differentials: Nights: $4.25/hr/ Weekends: $3.00/hr
