About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading the sales function, with a focus on driving revenue from $10M to $30M ARR. This role is highly strategic and hands-on, requiring the VP of Sales to work closely with the CEO to define and execute the go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early-stage B2B SaaS, with a proven track record in sales leadership, and a deep understanding of the sales process from pipeline to forecasting. They will be instrumental in shaping the sales organization, from defining the sales motion to coaching the team and will be expected to have a high level of sales instinct, judgment, and the ability to evolve the team and process to meet the demands of a scaling business. Key responsibilities for the VP of Sales include owning the end-to-end sales function, partnering with the CEO and marketing to align on the go-to-market strategy, and building the foundation for a scalable sales organization. The role also involves staying close to the most important deals, refining the sales pitch, and leading the strategy for competitive selling, particularly against legacy systems. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in B2B SaaS software sales, a successful track record in unseating legacy incumbents, and experience in both SMB and mid-market segments. A high ownership mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution are essential. While not mandatory, a personal connection to autism or autism care is considered a plus, given the company's mission to improve the quality and accessibility of autism care through technology.
