We are currently hiring picking for a large manufacturer!
Pay rate: $16.86
Schedule (days and time): 8am-4:30pm
Job duties/responsibilities:
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
- Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory and reporting shortages.
- Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Picking orders as requested by management.
- Sealing and tagging containers, confirming accuracy of orders and signing pick tickets to confirm.
- Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area.
- Placing containers on pallets, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
- Count, weigh and record number of units of materials handled on daily production sheet.
- Locates and loads by hand and with non-motorized equipment customer product onto/from pallets.
- Assists in building and grounds maintenance; assists in physical inventories.
- Minimum 6 months experience picking and packing in a manufacturing, or warehouse, environment.
- Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds. High school diploma or equivalent required.
