Step into an engaging contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a vibrant learning community near Fort Drum, NY. You’ll work closely with elementary, middle, and high school students, providing vital speech and language services throughout the academic year. This role runs from September 3rd to June 24th, with a consistent 37.5-hour workweek, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of K-12 learners.

What you’ll bring:

• Current New York State SLP license and TSSLD certification (non-negotiable)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience in school settings supporting IEPs and speech improvement plans
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads across different age groups and support a positive learning environment

Key responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to students in grades K-4 and across middle and high school (serving approximately 70-75 students)
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams
• Offer targeted speech improvement sessions for groups and individuals
• Complete assessments and maintain detailed progress documentation
• Engage families, teachers, and other staff in the support of students’ communication development
• Participate in flexible interview scheduling and prompt decision-making processes
