Dispensary Sales Associate

Position Overview Reporting to the Management team, our Sales Associates understand that Retail is a billboard for the brand. They take pride in being a professional, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable brand ambassador inside and outside the store to ensure the Company's success within the recreational cannabis landscape. Our Sales Associates are curious, thoughtful, and sales-oriented people who impart cannabis wisdom and create positive customer relationships to build a loyal customer base. Responsibilities Work as a team player and contribute to a positive working environment Exceed expectations by working to meet the Company's mission: to provide the ultimate one stop shop cannabis experience by offering exceptional customer service and diversified products, and to build long‑term customer loyalty Promote an environment and culture that is focused on positive and healthy interactions that align with the Company's core values Advise customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis Demonstrate an elevated level of cannabis knowledge and curate experiences that go beyond expectations Create intentional experiences for customers by building authentic relationships and exceeding the customers' expectations by delivering exceptional service Drive customer visit goals and increase the number of returning customers; successfully achieve sales goals and business metrics Pick & pack orders Accurately handle cash transactions by operating the point-of-sale system and maintaining a precise register Seek opportunities to contribute to and improve business results daily Adhere to all company training and operational standards and procedures Be knowledgeable about company communication, rollouts, directives, and procedures Abide by all company policies and programs Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, state and DCC laws and regulations Other duties may be assigned Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age High school diploma Hiring preference will be given to those candidates with open availability Open availability is defined as the ability to work all hours required without restrictions, including days, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays All employees must be able to work two weekend days (Friday–Sunday), but management reserves the right to assign days depending on workforce needs Physical Demands Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer Be able to stand for prolonged periods, bend, kneel, squat, and twist Benefits Partnered with United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW United Food and Commercial Workers) to secure better wages, protection, and benefits for cannabis workers Retirement plan (IAP) with employer contributions Full‑time status based on seniority Medical insurance for part‑time and full‑time employment Paid training on the history of cannabis, compliance, product knowledge, and sales Sample incentives (when available) Annual employee appreciation discounts on STIIIZY merchandise Paid holidays Employee discounts on top of highly competitive prices Company‑sponsored events and team‑building activities Compensation and Work Hours This position starts as a part‑time role at $19.50/hour + tips.
