Overview BluePearl Pet Hospital in Queens is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. Our hospital is located in the Forest Hills area of Queens, and we serve pets in the neighborhoods of Astoria, Bayside, Bellerose, Corona, Elmhurst, Flushing, Fresh Meadows, Glen Oaks, Howard Beach, Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Kew Gardens, Long Island City, Middle Village, Oakland Gardens, Richmond Hill, Ridgewood, St. Albans, Sunnyside, Whitestone, Woodhaven and Woodside. Those without ER experience (including new graduates) are encouraged to apply through our EmERge Mentorship Training Program. Responsibilities Provide emergency veterinary medical care to critically ill or injured pets. Utilize diagnostic tools and perform life-saving procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team. Communicate clearly with pet owners about medical conditions and treatment plans. What We Offer Annual base salary up to $210,000, depending upon level of experience. Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required. Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with the ability to make rapid assessments in emergency situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate bedside manner. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
