Patient Access Specialist
Alluvion Health is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to support our Great Falls clinic locations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday, loves helping people, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism, compassion, and care.
- Schedule and confirm health appointments.
- Answer phones and respond to patient messages in a timely manner.
- Collect and verify patient information, demographics, and insurance coverage.
- Determine eligibility for financial assistance programs (Sliding Fee Discount Program).
- Collect co-pays, fees, and payments at time of service.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to healthcare providers.
- Assist Alluvion Health clinics as needed to support patient care.
What We're Looking For
- Required: High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET.
- Required: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
- Required: Experience in customer service settings.
- Preferred: Experience in healthcare settings.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable with technology; proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems a plus.
- Dependable, adaptable, and organized in a fast-paced environment.
