We are seeking Physical Therapist Assistants to assist in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures. May in accordance with state laws, assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, document the progress of treatment, and modify specific treatments in accordance with patient status and within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist. Sets up patient treatment area with specific equipment, supplies and manipulative for each patient evaluation or follow up session. Treat patients through a variety of therapeutic interventions. Safeguards, motivates, and assists patients in practicing exercises and functional activities under the supervision of the Physical Therapist. Instructs patients in proper body mechanics and in ways to improve functional mobility. Instruct, motivate, safeguard, and assist patients as they practice exercises or functional activities. Complies with applicable policies and procedures and supports the Compliance Program. Contributes to organizational operations by performing other duties as may be required.
