VIP Staffing is Immediately hiring a CNC Operator – 2nd Shift (Lead-Level) for a great company in Albuquerque, NM
This is a Full Time Temp to hire position Schedule is Monday-Friday 2:30pm- 11pm Training will be 2 weeks in a morning shift
Pay: $23-$27 DOE
VIP Staffing is seeking a highly skilled CNC Operator to support a growing manufacturing team in Albuquerque, NM. This is a lead-level role overseeing the operation of newly installed HAAS VF-4 and VF-Mini machines. While no direct reports are assigned, this position requires strong technical leadership, troubleshooting ability, and confidence in keeping machines running efficiently.
As a CNC Operator you will:
Operate CNC machinery to produce precision components
Set up, adjust, and monitor HAAS VF-4 and VF-Mini machines
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Utilize BobCAD and Fusion software for machining operations and program edits
Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
Troubleshoot machining issues and perform minor repairs (e.g., tool/bit replacement)
Maintain production efficiency while ensuring accuracy and quality
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
CNC Operator Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
2+ years of CNC operating experience preferred
Experience with BobCAD and Fusion required
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Familiarity with CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
CNC setup experience
Knowledge of G-code and machining processes
Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environments
