IP Litigation Associate Life Sciences/ANDA

Job Overview A law firm seeks an IP Litigation Associate with a focus on Life Sciences/ANDA for their Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate will have experience in patent litigation and be comfortable engaging in court proceedings and client interactions. Duties Participate in underlying case analyses and conduct factual and legal research. Draft pleadings and participate in discovery on infringement, validity, and damages issues. Conduct depositions and engage in expert discovery. Research and draft dispositive and discovery motions and claim construction briefing. Participate in pre-trial and trial activities. Requirements 2-6 years of significant patent litigation experience in U.S. District Courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Experience with ANDA and/or other life sciences patent litigation. Comfortable speaking directly with clients and opposing counsel. Willingness to actively participate in strategic case development. Education Undergraduate or master's degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or other life sciences discipline. High level of academic achievement from a law school institution.
