Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves performing preventive and unscheduled maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment to minimize machine downtime. You will also be responsible for facility maintenance, maintaining accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and performing data collection tasks using JobBoss and other applications. Forklift operation and adherence to 5S organization and housekeeping standards are also part of this role.

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment.
• Conduct unscheduled maintenance to minimize machine downtime, including diagnosing equipment issues.
• Assist in facility maintenance tasks.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Perform data collection and communication tasks in JobBoss and other applications.
• Operate a forklift safely to move equipment and materials within the facility.
• Maintain workstations to 5S organization and housekeeping standards.
• Comply with company policy and procedures.

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Maintenance Technician specifically on CNC Machines.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting CNC Machines.
• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of Mills/Lathes/Grinders.
• Facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints of CNC equipment.

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance.
• Blueprint reading skills.

This role is based in a temperature-controlled job shop machining center for the Aerospace industry. The job involves handling complex parts that need to be within very close tolerances, with production runs ranging from 20 to 70 pieces.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
