Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Mixed 8-hour and 12-hour shifts; includes rotating weekend nights and holiday call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within an Operating Room setting, including scrub and circulate roles
• Deliver high-acuity care in a Level I Trauma environment, including liver and kidney cases
• Float as needed to GI unit or an affiliated outpatient surgery center
• Adhere to scheduling requirements including rotating weekend nights, summer and winter holiday call, and holiday work shifts per the 6-week block schedule
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience, with at least 2–3 years in a Level I Trauma setting
• Level I Trauma experience including liver and kidney cases
• Trauma certification required
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in both scrub and circulate roles within the OR
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
