About the Role:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in dental assisting (e.g., DA, CDA or RDA).
• Experience with dental practice management software.
• Additional training in radiography or infection control.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by handing instruments and materials as needed.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
• Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate treatment documentation.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
