Research Assistant at TWIN Lab

The TWIN Lab at the Johns Hopkins Center for Fetal Therapy is a student driven research collective studying rare complications in monochorionic twin pregnancies, including Twin Anemia Polycythemia Sequence (TAPS), Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS), and selective Fetal Growth Restriction (sFGR). Led by Dr. Mara Rosner, we analyze diagnostic patterns and outcomes from our REDCap database, follow up with patients, and publish on the data we collect. Our team unites undergraduate, master's, and medical students, and lab members have opportunities to observe fetal interventions and surgeries at the Center for Fetal Therapy.

No prior research or data entry experience is necessary. Our training builds the clinical background from the ground up and develops all skills needed to be a successful lab member. Applicants must be Hopkins affiliates (typically students, but occasionally employees with a JHED ID) for the next year. We require a commitment of 10 hours per week. The work is completely asynchronous with the exception of a weekly lab meeting with Dr. Rosner. Because of the extensive clinical training involved, we prefer applicants who can commit to at least one year in the lab.
