Medical Technologist

Medical Technologist Full-time Nights (7p-7:30a) How you'll contribute Verifies patient and specimen identification before performing any procedure. Performs common testing procedures and assesses and reports test results. Performs test result calculations as necessary. Performs and reports waived to highly complex laboratory tests on patients by departmental policies and procedures. Recognizes abnormal, unusual, or unexpected test results through correlation of data with common physiological conditions/age of the patient. Additional requirements include: Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. One (1) year of experience in a medical laboratory preferred.
