Assistant Store Manager
As an Assistant Store Manager ("ASM"), you will use your customer service and leadership experience to provide a white-glove experience for our customers. Our Assistant Store Managers develop their leadership skills in real-time by assisting store leaders with recovery processes, customer outreach, and risk mitigation. You will participate in training and coaching Customer Service Representatives, where applicable, while being a champion for compliance and ensuring Company standards are met. Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the full cycle of the loan or pawn process by educating consumers and making recommendations based on their financial needs.
Assist account management and recovery processes, including collection calls, while maintaining a focus on customer service to prevent account charge offs and loss.
Work to meet Company-set performance standards by leveraging business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtaining referrals, and participating in and hosting in-store and community events.
Develop customer relationships to build new business, maintain store profitability, and further brand loyalty and recognition.
Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer Service Representatives, when applicable, to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety procedures.
Maintain customer information in the point of sale (POS) system with accuracy and integrity.
Help ensure a work environment that upholds compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits.
Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance and cleanliness, addressing basic facility needs and scheduling maintenance services.
Work efficiently in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment and handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.
Utilize strong interpersonal skills to communicate and interact with customers and Team Members at all levels.
Ability to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance, including limited Saturday hours, is required for this position. A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40-hours per week*. Store hours, schedules, and/or the minimum number of hours required for this position may be subject to change by brand entity and at the sole discretion of the Company. High School Diploma or equivalent required
At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
Minimum one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail
Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama)
Background check required. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered, in accordance with applicable law.
Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.
