Step into the rhythm of modern manufacturing

Picture this: your shift kicks off and the line is ready. You review the day’s production plan, prep your station, and bring high-speed equipment to life with careful setup and calibration. You’ll keep machines running smoothly, measure parts with accuracy, and log results so every unit meets spec. When the unexpected happens, you’ll troubleshoot quickly and keep production on track.

Multiple Shifts Available:
2nd (1:30PM–10PM) and 3rd (9:30PM–6AM)

• Start up, operate, and shut down machinery following documented work instructions.
• Set up equipment at the beginning of each run (calibration, cleaning, and verification) to initiate stable production cycles.
• Adjust machine parameters (such as speed and feeds) to maintain quality and throughput targets.
• Load raw materials/parts into semi-automated equipment and ensure consistent supply.
• Inspect output with precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) against drawings and specifications.
• Perform periodic checks to confirm proper machine function and product conformity.
• Record production data, volumes, and quality notes in daily activity logs.
• Diagnose issues during runs; carry out basic repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
• Keep the cell organized and clean to support a safe, efficient environment.
• Follow safety procedures and plant regulations at all times, including PPE use.
• Escalate equipment anomalies to your supervisor promptly for resolution.
• Track and replenish material and component inventory required for your machines.
• Partner with teammates to optimize changeovers and improve overall flow.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on equipment and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement activities to boost yield and efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals; work confidently with diverse high‑speed machinery.

• Solid understanding of manufacturing workflows and production methods.
• Strong safety mindset and consistent use of protective gear.
• Sharp attention to detail with sound analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and dependable teamwork.
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with automated/control operations.
• Comfort with basic computer systems and math.
• Openness to on-the-job training and skill development.
• Flexibility for shifts, including nights and weekends when required.
• Proven experience operating production machinery.

• Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Stamina to handle heavier lifts and occasional overtime.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a machine shop is required.
• Preferred: background in a fabrication-focused machine shop.
