Schedule / Job Type

Contract (6-Month Assignment) | Night Shift | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday rotation beginning July 4th, then every other

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting as part of a flex pool
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Adapt to varying unit needs and patient census as a flex pool team member

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a flex pool or float pool capacity
• Familiarity with critical care monitoring equipment and ventilator management
