The Match Day Ticketing & Fan Experience Associate plays an important role in creating a smooth, organized, and memorable experience for fans on match day. This position supports the Ticket Sales and Fan Experience teams with the setup, execution, and breakdown of premium areas, guest services locations, giveaways, VIP experiences, and on-field activations. This is a hands-on, event-based position ideal for someone who is energetic, dependable, organized, and comfortable interacting with fans while also assisting with the physical setup and breakdown required to operate a professional sporting event.

Key Responsibilities

Match Day & Premium Setup

Set up the Guest Services tent by transporting, unpacking, organizing, and displaying promotional giveaway items, organize and prepare premium credentials. Assist with the setup of Premium Loge Boxes, including physically setting up tents, signage, place premium gifts, amenities, and other materials in Loge Boxes prior to guest arrival. Conduct final checks of premium areas to ensure they are clean, organized, properly presented, and ready for guests. Assist with the setup of VIP on-field seating, ensuring chairs and surrounding areas are arranged neatly and according to the event plan. Help prepare and monitor VIP hospitality areas, prepare registration tables, display signage, and ensure presentations that meet premium experience standards. Assist with additional ticketing and fan experience setup needs throughout the stadium as directed.

Fan Engagement & Giveaways

Provide a welcoming and energetic first point of contact for guests while distributing promotional and giveaway items to fans entering the stadium. Provide a welcoming and energetic first point of contact for guests; Answer basic questions regarding seating, stadium locations, promotions, ticketing, and match-day activities. Assist with the execution of scheduled pre-match, halftime, and post-match fan experiences; Escort fans or groups to designated locations as necessary. Help ensure experiences are conducted safely, professionally, and on schedule.

Post-Match Breakdown

Assist with the breakdown of Premium Loge Boxes, including taking down tents and returning equipment to designated storage areas. Collect and return remaining promotional items, premium and guest service materials, credentials, signage, and equipment to the Box Office or designated storage locations. Assist with shutting down VIP, Guest Services, and fan experience spaces.

Additional Responsibilities

Support Ticket Sales, Ticket Operations, and Fan Experience staff with additional match-day needs as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with fans of all ages. Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled events. Willingness to perform both customer-facing and physical event setup responsibilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt as match-day needs change. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience in sports, events, hospitality, customer service, or ticketing is preferred but not required.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

Must be available to work all Carolina Ascent home matches Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, move, and set up event equipment, including tents, tables, chairs, boxes of promotional items, and other match-day materials.
