Compensation for Matron of Familyhood placements in the New Braunfels area typically ranges from $30 to $40+ per hour , based on experience, credentials, schedule structure, and role scope. Final compensation is determined by the hiring family.

Nannies placed through Matron of Familyhood are employed directly by the hiring family as W-2 household employees. Matron of Familyhood is not the employer of record.

All nannies placed through Matron of Familyhood are employed directly by the hiring family as W-2 household employees.

The hiring family serves as the employer of record and is responsible for payroll, tax withholding, unemployment, workers' compensation (where applicable), supervision, and benefits.

Compensation, schedule, guaranteed hours, and employment terms are negotiated directly between the nanny and family prior to hire.

Matron of Familyhood facilitates introductions but does not supervise or employ nannies after placement.

Many families begin with a mutually agreed, paid trial period to assess fit and expectations. Trial terms are negotiated directly between the nanny and family.

While families are the direct employer, Matron of Familyhood remains available to facilitate professional communication and support stable, long-term working relationships.

Our screening process may include application review, interviews, professional reference checks, and background screening conducted with candidate consent and in accordance with applicable law. Final hiring decisions are made solely by the family.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The hiring family completes employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) in accordance with federal law.
