About the Role The Operating Room Radiology Technologist plays a critical role in supporting surgical teams by providing high-quality intraoperative imaging services. This per diem position requires the technologist to operate radiologic equipment in the operating room environment, ensuring accurate and timely imaging to assist surgeons during procedures. The technologist must maintain strict adherence to safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and themselves from unnecessary radiation exposure. Collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff is essential to facilitate smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes. Minimum Qualifications Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) with current licensure to practice in New Jersey. Experience operating radiologic equipment in a surgical or operating room setting. Knowledge of radiation safety standards and infection control procedures. Ability to work per diem with flexible availability to accommodate surgical schedules. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams. Current BLS and ACLS certification. Preferred Qualifications Additional certification or training in operating room radiology or intraoperative imaging. Experience working in a hospital or surgical center environment. Familiarity with advanced imaging modalities such as fluoroscopy.
