Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare facility in Goodfellow AFB, TX is seeking four Retail Pharmacists to fill a 6-month contract-to-hire assignment. This opportunity offers a dynamic work environment with a moderate to high prescription volume, supporting patient care through medication dispensing and clinical services.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (rotating shifts)
• Every 3rd to 4th Saturday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescribed medications
• Perform thorough clinical reviews to ensure safe and effective therapies
• Administer immunizations as part of preventative care measures
• Provide patient counseling to support medication adherence and education

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active, unrestricted Texas Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Certification to administer immunizations
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems; experience with Willow is preferred

Additional Information:

• Prescription volume averages around 1,400 scripts
• Current pharmacy staff includes experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• The client is open to negotiating pay rates for qualified candidates
