Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, motors, instrumentation, and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and complete assigned work orders on time.
• Inspect and test equipment to identify problems and verify repairs.
• Assist with equipment changeovers and production line startups.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory of parts.
• Follow all safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), GMP, food safety, and OSHA requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and recommend ways to improve equipment reliability and processes.

Requirements

• Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical information.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 50–80 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours and work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights using proper safety equipment.
• Comfortable working around machinery, oils, greases, coolants, chemicals, heat, and vibration.

Payrate: 28.00/hr.
