Job Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations for all age groups using a combination of standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment plans addressing immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing requirements.
• Deliver one-on-one speech therapy sessions targeting communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate effectively with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and family members to shape comprehensive care approaches.
• Educate both patients and their families to ensure continued progress outside of clinical environments.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless care experience throughout each patient's journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with organizational policies as well as state and federal regulations.
• Keep abreast of advancements in the field via ongoing education and collaborative practice.

Education & Credentials

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Therapist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within the first month of employment.

• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for all ages, accompanied by solid understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
