CAT Scan Tech – Radiology

Schedule: 7 PM - 7 AM

Assignment Details: Minimal holidays and backup call required.

Requirements:

• Current ARRT certification required
• NH Imaging License required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 3 years of CT Scan experience required
• Knowledge of CT Scan software, GE and Siemens preferred
• Knowledge of PACS software, McKesson Change Healthcare preferred
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record, Epic preferred

Responsibilities:

• Acquires scans according to radiologist and department protocol.
• Informs patients of exam procedures and provides instruction for cooperation.
• Assists radiologist during interventional procedures.
• Coordinates daily workload by prioritizing patient schedules.
• Completes documentation in the Electronic Medical Record system.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, ensuring a clean workspace.
• Practices ALARA principle for radiation safety.
• Flexible to assist with 24/7 department coverage.
