LHH currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join a service company in Tulsa, OK. This direct hire position allows the opportunity to work with a friendly, talented and collaborative team of individuals. Responsibilities Maintain and update accounting records and files. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and JEs. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. Generate customer invoices, process vendor invoices, process cash receipts. Assist with collections and weekly cash forecast. Analyze financial data and prepare variance analyses. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Assist with internal and external audits. Maintain and compile audit documentation and schedules. Other special projects and duties as needed. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 2 years of accounting experience preferred. Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop solutions.
