Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items according to Marriott brand standards and recipes Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen workspace at all times Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage to minimize waste Assist with breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service depending on shift assignment Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate food preparation Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations Assist with inventory management, restocking, and supply organization Requirements: Prior experience in a commercial kitchen, hotel, or restaurant setting preferred Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment Food Handler's Certification or ServSafe certification a plus Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Positive, team-first attitude with strong communication skills About Us: Courtyard by Marriott - Shelton CT is proud to be part of the world-renowned Marriott International family, delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to business and leisure travelers alike.
