Precision Garage Door Service – Warehouse Manager / Installer South Bend, IN 46628, United States Full-Time | Monday–Friday Position Overview This role begins each morning in the warehouse preparing installers and trucks for the day ahead. Responsibilities include organizing inventory, stocking materials, maintaining warehouse efficiency, and ensuring the installation team has everything needed to complete jobs successfully. After warehouse duties are completed, the employee will transition into the field to complete one garage door installation in the afternoon. This position offers the opportunity to expand technical skills while increasing earning potential through installation work. Traveling to another market during training period will be mandatory. Schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Warehouse Operations After 11:00 AM: One installation job per day No overnight travel required Warehouse Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse operations and maintain organization Receive, organize, and track incoming inventory and materials Stock installer trucks with parts, tools, and job materials each morning Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages Keep warehouse clean, safe, and operational at all times Assist with loading and unloading products and deliveries Support technicians and installers with job preparation Ensure materials and equipment are ready for daily operations Help maintain company standards for efficiency and safety Manage inventory process on computer and tablet Installation Responsibilities Complete one garage door installation each afternoon Install garage doors and related components according to company standards Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail Provide excellent customer service during installations Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines Maintain professionalism while representing the company in customers' homes Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding job progress Compensation $18/hour - $20/ hour for warehouse responsibilities depending on experience Additional piece-rate compensation for installation work Opportunity to increase overall earnings through productivity and performance Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Able to use a computer and tablet Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn installation skills Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred Reliable attendance and strong work ethicWarehouse, construction, delivery, or garage door experience is a plus, but not required Willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and motivation to grow Why Join Precision Garage Door Service?
