Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Position

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification and state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), or as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Previous experience with early childhood caseloads is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student development
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory standards
• Supervise and guide the on-site SLPA as appropriate, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery

Work Schedule and Environment:

• 4 days per week, with a potential half day on Wednesdays
• Each workday consists of 6 hours
• Serve an early childhood caseload of around 32 students
