Server/Bartender

About the Role:

As a Full Time Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your primary focus will be to take orders accurately, serve food and beverages promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their visit. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, ensuring that guests feel welcomed and valued. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the overall success of the establishment by fostering repeat business and positive word-of-mouth recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
• Basic math skills to handle transactions and calculate bills.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and order management software.
• Ability to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Bilingual language skills to assist a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer any questions regarding menu items or ingredients.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate order timing and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Process guest payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions securely.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to provide a safe dining environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, twist, and move around the bar, dining, and pool areas.
• Ability to lift and carry trays, food, beverages, and supplies weighing up to approximately 25-30 lbs.
• Ability to push or pull carts, coolers, and other service equipment as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot, humid, sunny, and occasionally rainy conditions.
• Ability to safely navigate wet or slippery pool-deck surfaces and uneven terrain.
• Ability to work at a fast pace for extended periods while maintaining safe and efficient service.
