What You'll Be Doing: Recruit, motivate and retain a team of high-performing and driven Associates Work closely with the Associates to improve morale by motivating through effective coaching and facilitating personal growth Work with other department leaders to cultivate a welcoming and team-focused environment Plan and execute production schedules while overseeing production processes Ensure assigned shipping bays are complete and ready for the loading teams in the allotted time frame Communicate effectively with Associates and all levels of management Identify and celebrate operational successes; develop and implement strategies to capitalize on opportunities and address areas of improvement, and execute accordingly Manage department budget, ensuring department goals are met or exceeded Strategically manage department operations in compliance with company policies and vision Initiate, coordinate and effectively manage compliance of optimal operational policies and procedures Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security What We're Looking For: Minimum 2 years of college or equivalent Four years of warehouse experience, of which two years must involve warehouse department management Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Ability to manage details, appreciate complexity, and champion problem solving Strong leadership skills, flexible and innovative with a collaborative style Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to bend, stand, walk for prolonged period of time Able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends Be at least 18 years of age Able to submit to a Drug Test and Background Investigation What's In It For You?
