Qualifications and Background:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience or enthusiasm for working in school settings, especially supporting K-5 populations
• Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to varied learning needs and environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-5 students, both individually and in small groups

• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports as required by the school and district
• Consult regularly with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team decisions
• Promote generalization of communication skills across school settings
