Overview
we are seeking a bilingual Operations Safety Technician to support our operations. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting training, and fostering a culture of safety throughout our team. 

Position Description:

• Develop site specific safety documents and plans.
• Function as the Safety Professional monitoring employees and contractors, to ensure all Life Critical Rules are followed. 
• Confirm and track all daily startup documents to ensure they are being completed accurately and equipment that is out of compliance is being locked out until repaired. 
• Hold daily site inspections, checking for hazards in tools, machinery, and other site equipment.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports documenting site conditions, updated safety plans, and any worker concerns. Report all safety incidents and update mitigation plans as needed.
• Ensure all safety KPIs are positive, and all actions are closed as scheduled. Conduct daily safety inspections and write comprehensive reports on safety incidents and updates to risk mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with the corporate EHS staff to ensure all environmental requirements are followed and reported. 

Requirements:

• One to three -year minimum experience in a safety related position
• Bi-Lingual Spanish/English
• OSHA 30  Required 
• Good organizational skills and leadership ability.
• Proficient in using computer software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Experience in SAP and Power Bi is a plus
• Excellent people skills.
• Some travel required
