Registered Nurse - Acute Neuro Med Surg

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour Night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The Acute Neuro Med Surg unit is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty to support an increase in patient capacity with 7 additional overflow beds.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the Acute Neuro Med Surg unit.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as required.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responding appropriately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Acute Neuro Med Surg.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is mandatory.
