Overview Orange County Community College (OCCC) is recognized for its excellence in teaching and takes pride in its role in educating the next generation of students. The Mathematics department invites applications from individuals with a commitment to excellence in teaching students from diverse backgrounds. Responsibilities Teach a variety of courses, including Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, and College Algebra. Assignments are for day and evening classes at the Middletown and Newburgh campuses. Qualifications Education: Master’s degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field. Experience: Teaching experience. Preferred experience: Community College teaching experience. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Bilingual skills. Additional Information Position begins in the Fall of 2026 (on or about August 24, 2026).
