As a Dietary Cook, you will play an important role in preparing nutritious, appealing meals for our residents and helping create a positive dining experience.

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and residents’ dietary needs

• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures

• Prepare meals that are attractive, nutritious, and enjoyable

• Follow special diets and food preferences as directed

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen

• Work cooperatively with dietary and nursing staff

• Help ensure meals are served on time

• Dependable and responsible

• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

• Ability to follow recipes and dietary instructions

• Previous cooking or dietary experience preferred, but willing to train the right person

• Enjoys working with and serving elderly residents
