Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled and adaptable Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide expert patient care on a busy telemetry unit, supporting post-op and general medical-surgical patients.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry to detect arrhythmias or other cardiac events.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient data, assessments, and interventions accurately in the EMR system.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergent situations.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state registration.
• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital telemetry experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience caring for post-op CABG patients preferred.
• Proficient in Meditech EMR system.
• Outgoing team player with strong communication skills.
