American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Trauma Neuro ICU position at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Indianapolis, IN, requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience and working nights on a 13-week contract. Requirements Active IN or Compact RN license required Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address Driver's license copy required for consideration Two professional references required for consideration Responsibilities 24-bed Trauma Neuro ICU treating critically ill trauma, neuro, and surgical patients Trauma cases include blunt force and penetrating injuries such as abdominal, maxillofacial, orthopedic, and thoracic trauma Neuro cases include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, aneurysms, brain tumors, seizures, and traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries Surgical cases include complex spine and abdominal surgeries, head and neck procedures, and specialty OB/GYN Advanced procedures include hemodynamic monitoring, massive transfusion, ICP monitoring, brain tissue oxygenation, ventral drains, and continuous dialysis Patient ratio of 2:1 Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week Every other weekend required Holiday and hard-to-fill shift coverage required EMR: Sunrise (SCM) Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center of Excellence, and Transplant Center Royal blue scrubs required Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be eligible only at a reduced pay rate COVID vaccination is not required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-714417 Open Positions: 2 #J-18808-Ljbffr
