Maintenance Specialist

We’re partnering with a food manufacturing company in Lake Villa that is looking to add a hands‑on Maintenance Mechanic to support production on 2nd shift. This is a strong opportunity for someone with food manufacturing maintenance experience who enjoys working directly on production equipment in a fast‑paced environment. What You’ll Be Doing Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment Perform preventive maintenance on: Blending & cooking equipment Continuous and batch ovens Mechanical freezers Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including: Cylinders, valves, regulators, manifolds, and air prep units Support equipment uptime and production efficiency on 2nd shift What We’re Looking For Maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics Comfortable supporting production equipment on an off‑shift schedule Why Consider This Role Competitive hourly pay based on experience Hands‑on role with a well‑established food manufacturer Opportunity to work on a wide variety of production equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
