Scope of Work & Key Deliverables
The contractor is expected to deliver in the following areas during the engagement period:
Area - Description of Deliverables- Priority
- SEC Reporting - Assist with preparation and review of Form 10-Q/10-K filings; draft/review financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A; support iXBRL/XBRL tagging and tie-out in Workiva - High
- Cash Flow Statement - Prepare/review consolidated statement of cash flows (indirect method); resolve classification issues; prepare supplemental disclosure schedules - High
- Stock-Based Compensation - Prepare SBC journal entries, reconciliations, and rollforward schedules; review equity reports; draft ASC 718 footnote disclosures - High
- Goodwill & Intangibles - Support goodwill impairment analysis, intangible asset rollforwards, and related disclosures under ASC 350/360 - Medium
- Close Support - Assist with monthly/quarterly close tasks including journal entry review, account reconciliations, and flux analysis - Medium
- Audit Support - Prepare PBC schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and document key judgments and controls for audits/reviews - As needed
Credentials & Experience
- CPA
- Minimum 10 years of progressive, hands-on accounting experience in a public company or supporting public company clients.
- Demonstrated experience owning or supporting 10-K and/or 10-Q filings end to end.
- Deep command of U.S. GAAP, with hands-on expertise in: ASC 718 (Stock-Based Compensation), ASC 230 (Cash Flows), ASC 350/360 (Intangibles & Goodwill).
- Working knowledge of SEC rules (Regulation S-X and S-K) and PCAOB standards.
- Workiva: experience managing SEC filing workflows, tie-outs, and XBRL/iXBRL tagging required.
- NetSuite: proficient in ledger review, journal entry management, and report extraction required.
- Equity reporting tools (e.g., Carta, E*TRADE Equity Edge, Morgan Stanley, or similar) for SBC reconciliation preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills.
