C#.NET Applications EngineerThis entry-level role focuses on developing and maintaining operator-facing software to control and monitor unmanned aircraft systems. The software engineer will primarily utilize C++ and C# to build desktop applications, create intuitive user interfaces, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with embedded, systems, and network engineers to integrate aircraft and sensor information into the user experience. This position is ideal for a software developer who enjoys building real-world applications, working closely with hardware and aerospace systems, and growing their skills in UI development, real-time data visualization, and software engineering best practices.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain desktop applications using C++ and C#.Create intuitive user interfaces that simplify complex telemetry and system data.Troubleshoot and debug application issues.Collaborate with embedded, systems, and network engineers to integrate aircraft and sensor data.Engage in full application lifecycle development within the aerospace industry.Utilize UI/UX principles to enhance user experience.Essential SkillsProficiency in C# or C++ through coursework.Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).0-2 years of experience (internships, co-ops, capstone projects, etc.).Basic UI/UX experience.Knowledge of Visual Studio, Sensor Data, Telemetry, and Real-Time Systems.Experience with Unit Testing and Integration Testing.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with WPF, WinForms, or similar technologies.Basic knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction and HMI.Understanding of data-driven applications and network status monitoring.Familiarity with Git for version control.Experience with GUI design, dashboards, games, or simulations.Work EnvironmentThis is an onsite role based in Bingen, WA, with approximately 80% onsite presence. The position involves about 5% travel, both domestic and international. The work is primarily development and office-based, with periodic collaboration with field operators for feedback. The role requires sitting and working at a computer daily, reading screens, documents, and engineering drawings, carrying or lifting items up to 30 lbs, and walking through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bingen, WA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
