Data Analyst & Business Intelligence Analyst

Salary: $70,310 - 80,600 per year Requirements:

• We require U.S. citizenship due to federal contract and/or security clearance requirements, and the ability to obtain and maintain the required U.S. security clearance.
• We require a bachelors degree and 2+ years of related experience, including at least one year in data analysis, dashboard development, or reporting support.
• We seek advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, charts, pivot tables, and data models.
• We require experience with SQL and/or Python queries, databases, relational data concepts, data modeling, and data transformation.
• We seek experience creating dashboards or visualizations with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SSRS, or Python.
• We value strong attention to detail, data validation, problem-solving, troubleshooting, customer support, stakeholder service, organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• We require the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical audiences, manage multiple priorities, collaborate across functions, learn quickly, and contribute with a positive, can-do attitude.
• We welcome experience supporting business users with reporting, dashboard troubleshooting, or analytics requests; validating report logic, calculations, and data accuracy; familiarity with DoD and Agile processes and tools; and involvement in process improvement related to reporting, data quality, or workflow efficiency.

• We analyze, validate, and troubleshoot data, reports, dashboards, and business applications to help ensure accurate and reliable outputs.
• We develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards, reports, metrics, and visualizations to support stakeholder decisions.
• We perform quality checks on data sources, calculations, report logic, and dashboard outputs before release or distribution.
• We support data transformation, wrangling, and reporting while maintaining data integrity and consistency.
• We identify data anomalies, discrepancies, and reporting issues, investigate root causes, and help resolve them promptly.
• We gather reporting needs from stakeholders and turn them into actionable dashboards, reports, and metrics.
• We assist end users with reporting questions and issues, communicating data limitations, assumptions, and solutions clearly and professionally.
• We build positive stakeholder relationships through responsive service, dependable follow-through, and effective communication.
• We contribute to process analysis and continuous improvement to enhance reporting quality, usability, and efficiency.
• We manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functions while supporting Agile practices, processes, and tools for data analysis, report development, and dashboard creation.

We are DCS Corp., seeking an experienced Data Analyst, BI Dashboard & Report Developer for the WSSIS V Contract supporting the F/A-18 & EA-18G IPT in a dynamic DoD environment. The role works within a DoD SAFe Agile setting. Compensation is $70,310–$80,600. This is a full-time, on-site position in China Lake, California; hybrid and remote arrangements are not available.
