We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing manufacturing organization in Le Sueur, Minnesota. This hybrid role offers strong visibility across the finance function, with close partnership with leadership and meaningful involvement in cost accounting activities. The position is well suited for someone who enjoys owning core accounting processes, supporting month-end reporting, and contributing to a business that is expanding through new opportunities.

Responsibilities:
• Lead key month-end close activities, ensuring financial results are recorded accurately and delivered on schedule.
• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger across assigned accounts.
• Complete account and bank reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support cost accounting processes within a manufacturing environment, including analysis of production-related expenses and inventory impacts.
• Assist with the development and maintenance of annual standard costs to improve financial planning and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with finance leadership to provide insight into operating results, cost trends, and performance drivers.
• Contribute to projects tied to company growth, including financial support related to acquisition activity and business integration efforts.• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in month-end close, journal entries, and general ledger accounting.
• Experience performing account reconciliations and bank reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting principles, including standard costing and cost analysis.
• Ability to interpret financial data, identify inconsistencies, and recommend practical solutions.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with onsite presence during month-end close periods.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with finance leaders and cross-functional partners.
