The host/hostess Greets and seats guests at tables, answers general guest questions about the property and guest services and maintains complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, hours of operations, and proper table set-up. Responsibilities Remains current with restaurant beer, cocktail, and food menus. Keeps entry area and host stand clean and organized. Keeps host area well stocked with necessary equipment, forms, and supplies. Works in cooperation with other team members to provide a high quality of service. Assists as required in table maintenance and cleans when necessary. Observes and adheres to Health Department regulations regarding food handling, storage, and cleanliness of work environment. Completes opening, closing, and other side duties as assigned. Attends departmental and company meetings/trainings as required. Maintains a clean workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines. Performs all job functions in conjunction with the guidelines described in the Department Standard Operating Procedures Manual. Requirements Must be 21 years of age. High school completion or equivalent required. One year of high-volume Host/Cashier experience required. Ability to maintain HCA identified responsible alcohol service certification.
