As a Junior Front-End Engineer, you’ll play an active role in designing and implementing UI/UX components for our core products. What we’re looking for

A bachelor’s degree in computer science or another engineering or science discipline, or completion of a software development boot camp and 0–2 years of relevant professional experience Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript, with a solid understanding of language fundamentals, asynchronous programming, and modern front-end development practices Familiarity with UI/UX, knowledge of design patterns, and experience designing and styling applications with CSS Experience building web applications with React through professional, academic, or personal projects Experience working with REST APIs and integrating back-end services into front-end applications Experience with Git and modern software development workflows Familiarity with component frameworks like Material UI or similar frameworks Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and an eagerness to learn Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be a US person (a US citizen, a US national, or a Green Card holder) The following isn’t required, but we’d love to see it: Demonstrated software development through personal, academic, or open source projects Experience with GraphQL, Next.js, Node.js Familiarity with libraries such as React Query/TanStack, Axios, Context API, styled-components Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), automated testing frameworks, and/or CI/CD processes Familiarity with Python or Golang Experience implementing and deploying software in containerized or cloud environments, using tools such as Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes (K8s) Passion for discussing and creating mocks in Figma; working directly with design to create the best user experience Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Secret (or above) US security clearance, or an active Secret (or above) US security clearance This position offers a hybrid/on-site work environment at our office in Austin, TX. Compensation

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000–$130,000/year. Striveworks’ total compensation package includes a competitive base salary, equity grants, and cash bonuses. Benefits include:
